We are currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer with the following responsibilities and requirements:

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who will be responsible for developing Tumbleweed's next generation MailGate products. MailGate is a highly scaleable enterprise-level email firewall appliance product.

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of multithread server-side programming, using J2EE
• Experience with network programming, including socket programming
• Experience developing web-based applications
• Experience with relational database programming
• Ability to work well both independently and as a team member
• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE
• 4 years of experience on Unix

Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience
• 8+ years of IT industry experience
• Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalen
