Essential Responsibilities
- Performs administrative and clerical duties for individual(s) in the legal department.
- Develops and maintains filing systems. Timely filing and retrieval of other documents.
- Maintains organization and integrity of extensive portfolio of files & records for the legal department; including intellectual property asset records.
- Managing foreign subsidiary administrative documentation and communications
- Managing immigration process; work with outside counsel on all immigration related activities
- Reconciling and preparing legal invoices for approval and payment
- Prepares letters, reports and other materials; files documents with appropriate entities in accordance with legal requirements.
- Acts as an information source on organization policies and procedures. Screens calls and takes messages.
- Schedules appointments and may make travel arrangements.
- May assist in establishing office policies and procedures, and coordinates special projects and department activities.
- Work closely with office administrative staff on various projects and office related tasks
Requirements
- Legal Certification and or a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
- Has substantial understanding of the job; is able to complete a wide range of tasks
- Completes tasks in creative and effective ways
- Sound Judgement & Resourceful
- Works independantly with minimal supervision
