We are currently seeking a Technical Writer with the following responsibilities and requirements:

Tools

• Tool Saavy
• FrameMaker 7.1 or above at the expert level
• CVS or some other open source control system such as RCS
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Experience with DreamWeaver or similar HTML editor
• Acrobat Professional 7 for generating PDF files
• SnagIt or similar screen capture program
• Experience working with Windows platform software

Skills

• Experience writing Admin, Installation, Quick Start, Release Notes, and Online Help for different levels of System Administrators
• Flexibility – must be flexible with respect to constant changes with everything, i.e. procedures, scrum teams, and deadlines
• Ability to juggle several projects at once and work independently as needed
• Exposure to or experience with XML
• Single sourcing or repurposing documentation, information mapping or chunking content
• Experience documenting Network Security – i.e. file transfer security, for product docs such as Secure Transport
• Familiarity with the Agile (SCRUM) process of product development will be considered as a plus
